The staggering loss of valuable oilseeds, particularly from indigenous trees like Neem, has prompted the establishment of TACTICAL RENEWABLE ENERGY ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (T.R.E.E. dF.)
For instance, in Gujarat alone, approximately 45 million Neem trees yield an abundance of seeds, yet a mere 5 million trees' worth seeds are collected, leaving the remaining seeds to go to waste. This not only represents a loss of approximately ₹1000 crores annually but also squanders the potential for rural employment, income generation, and sustainable livelihoods.
TREE aims to bridge this gap by collecting and processing these unutilized oilseeds, thereby promoting environmental conservation, rural development, and economic empowerment. TREE will further look at cultivation on unutilized lands and marginal lands to increase rural incomes.
Our Mission
TREE is dedicated to conserve natural resources, increasing rural incomes, uplifting rural communities, expanding green cover through tree plantations, and collecting oilseeds to produce oils which have a wide range of applications, including production of eco-friendly fuels.
Our mission focuses on rural development, to combat climate change, improve air quality, and create a sustainable future for generations by promoting sustainable development through our various initiatives.
